Our Story
Firstline Pharmacist was created after we repeatedly saw the same problem from both sides of the counter. In hospital pharmacy, patients were leaving with new prescriptions, complex medication regimens, and almost no time to ask questions. In community pharmacy, the dispensary was often too busy and too loud for the kind of honest, unhurried conversation that genuinely changes someone’s health.
The relationship between a patient and their pharmacist should be one of the most valuable in healthcare. Pharmacists are medication specialists, trained to understand not just what a medicine does, but how it fits into a person’s life, what to watch out for, how it interacts with everything else they are taking, and whether what they are experiencing is normal or needs further attention.
